Little Green by Chun Yu
Chun was born in a small city in China's eastern province. She was a graduate  of Peking University and came to the United States to persuade her PHD Degree in science. She has now written an excellent book called Little Green. This book is now in many bookstores and libraries. It is on many 6th to 8th grade reading lists.
The book is  about a little girl named Xiao Qing that struggles in the Culture Revolution . It was a hard and desperate time.
